Fluid Equipment Services Ltd (FES) was founded in 1984. A family owned company, set up by Bill & Ruth Jordan, it has been supplying an extensive range of industrial pumping equipment for over 40 years.
During this time, FES has forged a robust relationship with Graco, one of the biggest and most respected manufacturers in the pumping industry. FES remains to this day, one of their leading distributors in the UK.
Bill was a Manager at Graco, when it was mentioned that they required a distributor within North West, England. Having years of knowledge, expertise and contacts, Bill put his name into the, proverbial, hat which heralded the creation of FES.
A warehouse in Warrington provided a base and FES duly started trading. At that time, FES became one of only a handful of Graco distributors in the UK. As the years passed, FES grew and went from strength to strength, supplying pumps and spares to customers around the world.
Bill was unexpectedly taken ill in 2003 and very sadly passed away in 2015. This was obviously an extremely tough time for Ruth personally, but also for the business. Despite this massive loss, Ruth kept the business afloat through her own strength and resilience. And, it is testament to her that FES is still trading and thriving today.
Fast forward a few years to 2022, and the company relocated to a purposely renovated warehouse in Hadfield, Derbyshire. This move not only expanded the stock room, but also created a warm and inviting office space for its staff.
Along with this recent relocation, 2024 was another year for expansion. FES secured a distributorship with Calpeda, further broadening the scope of applications for which it can provide. The team also expanded in 2024, providing much needed support.
The focus for Fluid Equipment Services Ltd has always been our customers and providing them with an excellent service and this will remain to be the case now and throughout our future.
